Description by Margareta Hallin:
This is truly a pattern I have been longing to present. The Birgitta tie-neck blouse is named after my ever so stylish mother. I myself love tie-neck blouses! They can vary endlessly and never go out of style. Lovely to wear with both jeans or for dressier occasions. Your choice of fabric sets the style! I have worked on the pattern for a long time to make it as easy to sew as possible while still having a beautiful and flattering cut. You can choose whether you want to make it with long sleeves with a smooth sleeve cap or short sleeves with a lovely cuff at the bottom.
The pattern is printed on a heavier paper that can be kept. The instructions are printed in color with pictures and a step-by-step guide so that you can move forward. Everything is delivered in a bag where you can store both the pattern sheet and the instructions.
Fabric choice
The blouse can be sewn in many different fabrics, cotton poplin, viscose, crepe or lyocell, or why not in a lovely viscose jersey with a heavier drape. Depending on which fabric you choose, you will get different looks for the blouse. If you like, you can make the tie bands longer or shorter for variation.
Sizes and fabric requirement
A pattern sheet for sizes xs-xxl is included, as well as clear instructions so that you can easily sew my Birgitta tie-neck blouse. I have sewn my blouses in size M and I am 1.70 tall. Look at the pictures and you will see how much fabric is required for each model and size.
