Tip! If you wash and tumble the Thai silk, you break down the fiber and make the fabric softer and duller, while at the same time it gets a nice drape and of course retains all the properties of a silk fabric. Wash with Y3 or other enzyme-free detergent. NOTE. washing the silk is "deliberately mistreating" the fabric, so be sure you want the effect of a wash.
