Description of Margareta Hallin:
This is definitely a pattern I've been dying to feature. The Birgitta tie blouse is named after my always stylish mother. I personally love tie blouses! They can vary endlessly and never go out of style. Nice to wear with jeans or more festive occasions. Your choice of fabric sets the style! I have worked on the pattern for a long time to make it as easy to sew as possible but still with a nice and dressy cut. You choose whether you want to make it with long sleeves with smooth cuffs or short sleeves with a nice cuff at the bottom.
The pattern is printed on a stronger paper that can be saved. The description is printed in color with pictures with a step-by-step guide to help you get going. Everything is delivered in a bag where you can store both the pattern sheet and the description.
Fabric choice
The blouse can be sewn in many different fabrics, cotton poplin, viscose, crepe or lyocell or why not in a nice viscose jersey that has a heavier fall. Depending on which fabric you choose, you get different expressions on the blouse. If you like, you can make the ties longer or shorter for variety.
Sizes and fabric consumption
It includes a pattern sheet for sizes xs-xxl as well as clear instructions so that you can easily sew my knit blouse Birgitta. I have sewn my blouses in size M and I am 1.70m tall. Look at the pictures and you will see how much fabric is used for each model and size.
